Walk/Jog-a-T

FUNDRAISER!!!

We are SO excited for our PTA fundraiser this year! It is a

Jog-a Thon to be held on Friday, September 24th!

We will be jogging a one-mile course through the neighborhoods just south of the school. The local police and fire department will also be there with lights flashing!

Students will collect donations the week before. If every student brings in just $10, we will easily be able to meet our goal of $10,000. We keep 100% of donations at our school!

The money goes towards PTA events and activities like Trading Post, Skate Nights, Teacher Appreciation, Patriotic Week, and class parties (that is new this year).

There will be prizes for those bringing in the most donations - both individuals and classes. We would LOVE to have parents lining the route to cheer our students as they jog by!

In the next few weeks we have our Hearing and Vision Screening and "Jog-a-thon" Fundraiser, which will require a lot of extra hands. If you are able to help with either of these, please call Jaimie Maio (801) 635-7127.

VOLUNTEER TRAINING is Thursday, September 16th at 9:30 am. This is a great opportunity to learn what the district requires from volunteers and how you can help our students and school. Please meet in the front entry near the office.

ALL volunteers working in the school or PTA need to have a background check. The cost is $15 and will be valid for 5 years. See Judie in the main office for forms and more information.
